A 12-acre agricultural landscape in Western New Jersey. The landscapes arrayed within the farm compound include a central lawn, a cottage garden, and a water garden. The boxwood farm plantation of three different varieties of boxwood was designed as a strolling garden that also provides a cash crop to preserve the land’s agricultural heritage. The architecture of the project develops a kind of modern vernacular; the landscape followed suit, appearing at once tied to the traditions of farm and garden but also rooted in a modern minimalism.
